Whitney Live presented by Keds

Whitney Live – forgivingly, nothing to do with she who’s heart shall go on, but instead a series of concerts at the Whitney Museum in New York. The event itself has a great line-up of performances,  featuring the likes of Javelin, Warpaint, DJ/Rupture, Toro Y Moi and High Places. The shows are free so long as you buy admission to the museum, which is on a pay-what-you-want basis.

So, what do you do when you’ve got a great line up of blog-worthy buzz-bands? Sneaker brand Keds smelled the opportunity to go and create some killer content from the shows and get cool blogs like The Music Slut to post them up. Or maybe not.

Of course, at BRR we’re delighted whenever brands are making more of their experiential or sponsorship of events by producing digital content, so we can’t complain too much and they did get a nice nod on The Fader. So, do keep trying Keds.
